MorningStar at Bear Creek Hosts the “Unforgettable Series”

As a top-rated dementia and Alzheimer’s care community specializing in caring for those with dementia-related diseases, MorningStar at Bear Creek continues to educate our staff as well as reach out to caregivers and families dealing with the disease.  One enlightening program we are hosting is the Unforgettable Series, “Navigating the Journey of Dementia”.

The six-month lecture series began in April but there is still time to join us for the last two sessions. The talks will be held at MorningStar Memory Care at Bear Creek on the first Wednesdays of August and September at 4:00-5:00pm.  We are located at 2450 Lower Gold Camp Rd. in Colorado Springs.

On Aug 7^th, the series focuses on Protecting the Vulnerable. The last topic of the series will be Enriching Life on September 4^th.  Please contact us at 719.694.1411 to RSVP by the Monday before each event.  If needed, care will be provided for your loved one during the presentation.

This series for anyone who would like to learn more about the different types of dementia and how to communicate effectively with those who have dementia. Whether you are a caregiver for; a relative of; or someone who often encounters those who have dementia, this series is for you. There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be served.
